Youth and teen full-day camps, youth half-day camps, Open Recreation and full day Therapeutic Recreation camps are always open for registration. Check out all of the exciting options we have for your child to have loads of fun!
Most camps will last for 10 weeks beginning in June. Exact dates are announced in advance at which time you will be able to select individual weeks or all 10. Lunch and snack are provided.

Summer Fun - Full Day Camp
Campers will enjoy weekly themes, local field trips, enrichment activities, games, swimming and more. Two special field trips include Busch Gardens and Ocean Breeze

Teen Life Unplugged
Activities include: swimming, art and design, crafts, sports, field trips, a talent show, and more. Two special field trips include Busch Gardens and Ocean Breeze.

Summer Playgrounds - Half Day Camp
This camp experience includes outdoor play, arts and crafts, swimming and local field trips. Campers are welcome to stay for Open Recreation following camp.

Virginia Rules Camp is a law-themed summer day-camp experience for youth hosted by Virginia law enforcement agencies.ties.

Come join the staff of Sandy Bottom Nature Park for a week of fun and adventure!

Therapeutic Recreation (Special Needs) Camp
Spend nine weeks of your summer vacation with your peers. This program is designed for individuals with special needs and requires advance registration and assessment.

Summer Youth Soccer Camp
Youth Soccer Camp is a one-week camp for boys and girls age 5-17 with instruction provided by the Newport News-based Lionsbridge FC coaches and players.

Summer Youth Volleyball Camp
This all-skills volleyball camp will ignite and excite kids about the fun competition of volleyball. Players develop fundamental skills, including serving, passing, setting, and hitting.
