Participants meet at the Arc in Hampton to choose from a full day of activities and learning experiences that will help them grow. They also give volunteer services to local organizations. Activities include music therapy, educational tours, money management and pre-vocational training.

Project Lifesaver
Provides the use of electronic locator service for person's suffering from Alzheimer's, Autism, dementia, Down's Syndrome, or anyone who tends to wander. Agency personnel come to person's home. Project Lifesaver is a community (public/private) partnership involving the 43rd Virginia Volunteer Search and Rescue Company, an element of the Chesapeake Sheriff's Office and the Hampton Roads Alzheimer's Association.
