Emergency Management Office
Hampton's Emergency Management Office is responsible for developing and coordinating a comprehensive framework for the city's response during an emergency. The office coordinates training and education programs for first responders and other city staff.

Emergency management also helps homeowners and businesses prepare for an emergency; provides information on severe weather; coordinates evacuations and shelters; coordinates public response and cleanup; coordinates help for home and business owners; trains emergency volunteers.
