Camp Fury for Girls
Earn the Girl Scout Safety Award & CPR Certification
Firefighter Girl

This hands-on resident camp allows girls in grades 6 through 12 to gain self-confidence and respect through teamwork. The camp, presented by the Girl Scouts of the Colonial Coast, in partnership with Hampton Fire & Rescue gives girls the opportunity to experience firefighting and emergency operations techniques, and connect with women currently in the profession. Participants will earn the Girl Scout Safety Award and CPR certification. Classes will be held July 20 - 25, 2014.

Girls will stay at Camp Skimino, located on 90 wooded acres near Williamsburg, Virginia, and travel each day to class at Hampton Fire & Rescue.

Register early and save. Class size is limited. Additional information is available at www.gsccc.org; follow the link to eBiz, and then to Camp Skimino. Financial assistance is available.

If you have questions, contact Rebecca Fritter with the Girl Scout Council, or or 757-547-4405; or Medic Firefighter Jami Salvio with Hampton Fire & Rescue, .
