The Hampton Emergency Preparedness Bureau is responsible for planning and coordinating all natural or man-made emergencies and disasters that may occur within the city. The goal of Emergency Management is to coordinate a unified response to a crisis; to prevent or minimize the threat when possible; and to respond quickly and effectively when prevention is not possible.
