Sept. 5, 2017 -  This month residents can learn more about a number of important road projects planned by Public Works. They can also request that a public hearing be held on three additional projects:

  • Monday, Sept. 18, is the last day for residents to ask that a public hearing be held to discuss new sidewalks along parts of Mercury Boulevard near Coliseum Drive, road reconstruction along Freeman Drive, and work on Hampton Roads Center Parkway and Big Bethel Road. More information.
  • On Wednesday, Sept. 20, from 4-7 p.m. on the first floor of City Hall, residents can learn more about projects planned for Coliseum Drive, Commerce Drive, North King Street and four other areas of the city. The information meeting will allow residents to review plans, get information on project impact, and more. More information.
