Aug. 9, 2017 - The city's Public Works Department said an intersection improvement project at Big Bethel Road and Todds Lane should be finished this coming winter. When finished, the intersection should have better drainage, curbs, gutters and lane markings. The improved drainage should solve some of the flooding problems that currently take place at the intersection. Until then, the city has an inspection team onsite or on standby, with equipment read to pump out the area as needed.
