Copy of Council-approved budget for FY 2018 is now available online

July 5, 2016 - A copy of the Council-approved city budget for fiscal year 2018 is now available online. The budget went into effect on July 1. It calls for spending a total of $467,844,000, a 1.0% increase from the FY 2017 budget. Priorities for 2018 included competitive compensation for city workers, public safety, and education. Visit www.hampton.gov/budget for more information on the 2018 spending plan and the budget process overall. Copies of the budget can also be found in the Budget office at City Hall.
