March 15, 2017 - Hampton Mayor Donnie Tuck last week honored six ladies in their 80's and 90's who are committed to working with the city's young people and serve as volunteers with the Peninsula Foster Grandparent Program. Tuck recently saw the women in action at the Downtown Hampton Development Center and said "it became perfectly clear that these volunteers are truly preparing, even our youngest children, to become contributing citizens of the future."  The volunteers honored were Annetta Taylor, Bertha Davis, Mildred Gray, Catherine Moore, Daisy Hart and Hattie Alston.   Learn more about the Foster Grandparent program at www.hampton.gov/fgp.
