Feb. 7, 2017 – For the second year in a row, Hampton wants to help fund new, one-day events that build community and attract visitors to the city by offering grants of up to $10,000 to non-profits with creative ideas for quality public gatherings.

The grants build on a national model called “Love Your City.” Hampton is offering seed money of up to $10,000 (or $5,000 a year for two years). Organizations must have matching funds or in-kind contributions of at least 25% of the value of the grant.
