Customer Delight program rewards employees providing great service

April 5, 2016 - Have you seen a co-worker do a great job? Do you know someone in the city who goes out of their way – every day - to make customers happy? Don’t keep it to yourself. Say something about it and help us recognize the great work of city employees!

The new Customer Delight Program is designed to identify ordinary acts on the job that can delight customers and co-workers alike. The goal is to offer rewards – including gifts from a “Choose Hampton” catalog of logo items, food coupons and cash - every month. The recognition will be for:

1. Consistent service
2. Above-and-beyond service
3. Outstanding service

Some award winners may be also receive a special city coin and recognition by the city manager.

So when you see something, say something. Send stories about city employees or employee teams that you see providing this type of service to customers – internal or external – to 311 via email at 311@hampton.gov, or call 727-8311.
