Donation Policy

Do’s & Don’ts of Donating

As a city department we are required to adhere to certain policies regarding donations. At the recommendation of the city attorney’s office Healthy Families Partnership will not be accepting certain items for donation.

While we appreciate and need community donations some donations are a risk especially used items for children that do not have original packing materials and user guides. With the large number of items being recalled on a daily basis HFP is erring on the side of caution with donations.
