Housing & Neighborhood Services

Welcome to Housing and Neighborhood Services. We recognize that a city is only as successful as its neighborhoods. Therefore, the department supports Hampton residents' efforts to improve and maintain neighborhoods by providing coaching and consulting, educational opportunities such as Hampton 201, and neighborhood grants.

Because housing is a critical aspect of neighborhoods, we work to improve the appearance of neighborhoods through Community Development Block Grant funds, the Curb Appeal Program and the Hampton Home Repair Blitz. The department also contains the Neighborhood Commission.
