Pamela Jones received an A.A.S. in Political Science from Thomas Nelson Community College; B.S.G.A., in Governmental Administration from Christopher Newport College (University); Associates Degree in Military Science and Juris Doctorate from West Virginia University—proud home of the Mountaineers! Ms. Jones began her legal career with Virginia Legal Aid Society in Suffolk Virginia. Thereafter, she entered private practice for over 11 years in the Law Offices of Jones & Twitty. During her tenure in private practice, she was also the part-time Litigation Director for Legal Services of Eastern Virginia, supervising attorneys and support staff in offices in Hampton, Newport News, Norfolk, and Virginia Beach. In 2005, she became a Deputy Public Defender for the Hampton Public Defender Office. She served in that position before accepting a senior position with the Hampton Commonwealth Attorney. Ms. Jones currently serves as Deputy Commonwealth Attorney supervising attorneys practicing in Hampton Juvenile and Domestic Relations District Court.
