  1. Buckroe Beach & Park

    Buckroe Beach & Park

    Bay front park with ¾ mile of clean beach. Kayaks and paddleboats are available for rental. There are three shelters with 2 grills in each, children's playground, restroom facilities available May 15th through September 15th from 10:00AM - 6:00PM, a stage pavilion for community events and ample open space. Dogs are not allowed in the park from May 15th to September 15th. Park Rangers are on site year-round.

  2. Grandview Nature Preserve and Factory Point

    Grandview Nature Preserve and Factory Point

    Grandview Nature Preserve is open to the public free and forms the northeast corner of the city of Hampton. The Preserve covers over 475 acres of salt marsh, tidal creeks, and Chesapeake Bay beachfront. The Preserve is a great location to beach comb, observe the migratory birds, and photography. It is also a great place for fishing. You will need to obtain a saltwater fishing license from Virginia Department of Game and Inland Fisheries.

  4. Fort Monroe Aquatics/Pool

    Fort Monroe Aquatics/Pool

    The Fort Monroe pool has regular hours for open and lap swim for exercise and fun. Water exercise classes and swim lessons are also offered on a rotating basis for 4- 6- or 8-week sessions. Programs include: aqua arthritis, aqua fit, stretch and tone, and aqua cardio. Swim lessons are offered for infants, preschoolers, youth and adults. Programs are also offered for homeschoolers as well.

    Hampton Aquatics Center

    Hampton Aquatics Center features a zero-depth entry pool and two handicapped lifts one for the pool and one for the spa. It also features two cedar saunas. The pool has regular hours for open and lap swim for exercise and fun. Water exercise classes and swim lessons are also offered on a rotating basis for 4- 6- or 8-week sessions.
